A Vacation of Sorts

Note: This is the second time I'm trying to post this. I really hate working with an operating system that (a) I don't understand and (b) generally sucks.

I decided I should visit my mother in Cripple Creek this weekend. My buddy Andy and I initially had planned on driving up today after my show, but the prospect of incliment weather drove us to make the trip yesterday.
So after catching Josh Blue in the Tivoli Turnhalle, I rushed back to the north Denver suburbs to load my things in the truck and pick up Andy. The next three hours we were pelted with rain as we listened to a ton of Cake, Justice and The Talking Heads.
As soon as we pull into my mother's driveway, it starts to snow, so we rush our things into the house and bunker down for a cold night, and a day full of snow tomorrow, only to awake in the morning to clear skies and a relatively humane temperature.

We've mostly spent the day working around the house, shrink-wrapping the windows and digging to tunes. Andy is currently putting up a whiteboard that I'm too lazy to help with.

Have a good weekend!
